Asheville FlashMob!

(Video Link below) Last Friday unsuspecting tourists and Asheville citizens were surprised by a special treat of fiddlers led by Joyful Noise students Lillian Chase and bass player Olivia Jones playing Big Scioty. The duo, playing in a very sunny Pack Square Park, was soon joined by more musicians; Clearwater Connection and students and adults from the Joyful Noise Community including clogging instructor Cheryl Renfro breaking into a clogging routine with some of her students, Emmelyn Caldwell and Joyful Noise founder and director Dr. Gina Caldwell! More musicians joined the crowd playing and singing the tune “I’ll Fly Away” with Kindermusik families, fiddling and violin students, guitar students, flute students and a host of other musicians who love Joyful Noise!

This dramatic show of musical affection was inspired by our super duper fundraising campaign. Follow the link to the donation site to watch our Flash Mob video and to make a donation.
