Lessons with Sarah …

In the private lessons setting, Sarah’s primary objective is to encourage students to achieve their musical goals. Whether they are aspiring to be professional musicians/educators or simply want to gain a further understanding of musical concepts, Sarah crafts each lesson to meet the individual goals of each student. Currently, Sarah teaches piano, voice, and flute lessons with Joyful Noise.

All lessons incorporate Music History and Theory, as well as ear training so that the student may come to fully understand the music they perform. Sarah uses the Takadimi Method in all lessons. Piano Students use Alfred’s Basic Library, A Dozen a Day, Czerny, and Hanon. Flute students use Trevor Wye, Taffanel and Gaubert, and Berbiguier. Vocal students use Bel Canto, Cancone, and Dannhӓuser. The Alexander technique is also incorporated in voice lessons.
