Kruger Brothers Benefit Concert

KRUGER BROTHERS HOUSE CONCERT:  A benefit for Joyful Noise
Intimate setting at a beautiful home overlooking the French Broad River
Join us at this special evening January 31st to hear the nationally and internationally-renowned Kruger Brothers up close and personal.  The Kruger Brothers have been filling concert halls with their collaborations with symphonies around the country, and this is an opportunity to hear them in the company of friends while supporting the important work that Joyful  Noise does in the community.
Originally from Switzerland, where the trio first formed, Jens Kruger and Uwe Kruger later moved to Wilkes County, NC.  The brothers began playing North American folk music at an early age and were particularly inspired by recordings of Doc Watson, Flatt and Scruggs, Bill Monroe, and other progenitors of country, bluegrassand folk music. Check out the Kruger Brothers playing with Steve Martin on David Letterman.
Brighten up a winter’s evening with friends, food and amazing music.

About Joyful Noise:  A fundraiser for Joyful Noise Community Music and Arts Center (501c3)
Joyful Noise is celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary as the Asheville area’s non profit arts center. The organization has grown to offering lessons and classes at five locations and serving several hundred students of all ages. One third of students receive scholarship or other financial discount. Joyful Noise’s mission is to provide quality arts experiences that inspire creativity, cultivate connections to regional cultural heritage, and enrich the lives of all members of the community. As the Center moves into it’s second decade, it is launching a major fundraising campaign to hire a full time Executive Director. This will allow the organization to continue it’s important work for years to come. Thanks for supporting this exciting campaign! To learn more, visit joyfulnoisecenter.org
