Joyful Noise Summer String Camp 2010

Joyful Noise Community Music & Arts Center is proud to offer a unique summer program that combines rigorous string education under master instructors with an eclectic interdisciplinary arts experience. Summer String Camp is a week-long day camp for string players of all ages and skill levels, from early intermediate to advanced. Core classes consist of string orchestra, bluegrass old-time, chamber music, and masterclass instruction, and students choose among a variety of electives including world music, percussive dance, drama & improvisation, visual arts & quilting. Camp culminates in a Showcase performance at the end of the week, when students have the opportunity to perform in their orchestra and chamber ensembles.
