About Joyful Noise Music and Arts Center
Joyful Noise is a non-profit community arts center that serves Buncombe and Madison Counties. Our mission is to provide quality arts experiences that inspire creativity, cultivate connections to regional cultural heritage, and enrich the lives of all members of the community.
Joyful Noise offers group classes in Appalachian music, Chamber Music, Dance, Jazz, Kindermusik, Music Theory & Composition, Songwriting, visual arts, and dance. Joyful Noise also offers private lessons on a variety of instruments including violin, viola, cello, fiddle, bass, guitar, banjo, dobro, pedal steel, flute, voice, piano and percussion.
Joyful Noise Community Music and Arts Center is committed to serving our entire community, and is proud to offer a limited number of partial scholarships for private instrument study. Please see the scholarship page for application, to donate, and for more information.
Joyful Noise has four convenient locations: Marshall, Weaverville, West Asheville and South Asheville.
